RESUMEN

La utilización de un modelo artificial para realizar estudios de tácnicas de instrumentación o nuevos instrumentos constituye una alternativa al empleo de dientes naturales. La disminución de las variaciones inherentes a la forma de los conductos radiculares se minimiza proveyendo un método fácilmente reproducible. Palabras clave: endodoncia, conductos simulados, preparación quirúrgica.

SUMMARY

The use of an artificial model to carry out studies of technical of instrumentation or new instruments constitutes an alternative to the employment of natural teeth. The decrease of the inherent variations to the form of the root canal is minimized providing a method easily to reproduce. Key words: endodontic, simulated root canals, root canal instrumentation.
