Resumen

Establecer en ciencias forenses la identidad del cadáver es determinar características que le distingan individualmente, siendo en ocasiones necesario el auxilio de la odontología. Algunos rasgos va han sido estudiados para la determinación de raza, sexo, tafia y edad. Aún cuando cada individuo posee 160 superficies dentarias que pueden presentar anomalías, lesiones adquiridas y restauraciones de diferentes ti pos, características de innegable ayuda en la identificación, erróneamente no son registradas actualmente en ninguna ficha odontológica. Se proponen los términos de Expresiones Dentarias para todas aquellas manifestaciones morfológicas externas susceptibles de ser indicio de identificación y Perfil Identificatorio al resultado del entrecruzamiento de estas ex presiones. ABSTRACT

Setting the identity of a human body in forensic sciences means to determine the individual characteristics that distinguish it, being it necessary the help of odontology to do so. Some patterns have help described to determine race, sex, height and age. While each individual has 160 dental surfaces that may present anomalys, acquired lesions and many kinds of restaurations, undeniable helpful characteristics in identification, they are not registered in any dental chart. We propose the word Dental Expression to described every morphologic external manifestation able to become an identification sign and Identity Profile to the results of the mixture of this expressions.
