Resumo

Apresenta-se um caso de reimplante dental pós-avulsao traumatica que teve evolucao complicada pela ocorrencia de novo traumatismo durante o período de imobilizacao. Causando luxaçao lateral moderada Ocorreu necrose pulpar, manifestada pela presença de fístula. Descreve-se o tratamento realizado e discutese a possível influencia do novo traumatismo pós-reimplante inicial. Palavras-chave: Reimplante dentario; Traumatismo deental; Endodontia.

Abstract

A case of dental replantation after traumatic avulsion which was complicated by another traumatic episode during the immobilization period is presented. The tooth suffered a moderate lateral luxation and pulpar necrosis. The management of the case is presented and the possible implications of the new trauma as a contributing factor to the necrosis is discussed.
